What we do
Teaching English
Held classes for children ages 5–15 inside the camp and caravan school. What surprised me the most was how eager the children were to learn, especially considering that these classes were being held in the summer and they were not required to attend. The children had minimal learning experience, would arrive with such excitement and passion that it was inspiring.
Caravan Renovation
Helped renovate the caravan that served as a classroom in Al-Zaatari Village. The improvements created a brighter, cleaner, and safer space for children to learn.
Soccer
Organized soccer games and activities for children in the camp. These moments created opportunities for teamwork, friendship, and joy outside of the classroom.
Community conversations
Conducted interviews with children at the camp. These conversations became a primary source into the daily struggles of Syrian refugees in Jordan and gave a clearer picture of the challenges they face.
